A Word From Dr. Stanley

February 2020

Do you realize how much your heavenly Father truly wants to help you? It can be a habit to rely on ourselves for everything from making decisions to accomplishing goals. But as He showed me a long time ago, that can eventually lead to disaster. God knows how little we can do on our own (John 15:5) and how limited our understanding is. That’s why He tells us over and over to depend on Him—He’s always there to strengthen and guide us. This month as you spend time with Him, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding” (Prov. 3:5). Let Him be your teacher. You couldn’t be in better hands.

What happens to my notes

5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
